Simplify:
$a^2b^2 (a + 2b) (3a + b)$

Given:

$a^2b^2 (a + 2b) (3a + b)$

To do:

We have to simplify the given expression.

Solution:

$a^2b^2 (a + 2b) (3a + b)=a^2b^2 [a (3a + b).+ 2b (3a + b)]$

$= a^2b^2 [3a^2 + ab + 6ab + 2b^2]$

$= a^2b^2 [3a^2 + 7ab + 2b^2]$

$= a^2b^2 (3a^2) + a^2b^2(7ab) + a^2b^2(2b^2)$

$= 3a^{2+2}b^2 + 7a^{2+1}b^{2+1}+2a^2b^{2+2}$

$= 3a^4b^2 + 7a^3b^3 + 2a^2b^4$
