What is the method that is used to obtain pure salt from impure salt?
Crystallization of salt is the process of obtaining pure salt from impure salt. In this process, impure salt is dissolved in a solvent. Pure salt particles will dissolve and some will remain undissolved which are the impurities. The leftover solution is then recrystallized and the pure salt is obtained.
