What is the difference between a fraction and integers ?
Fraction:
A fraction is a part of a whole.
It is also defined as a ratio between two integers. The upper part of a fraction is called the numerator and the lower part is called the denominator.
For example,
3/5 is a fraction in which 3 is the numerator and 5 is the denominator.
Integer:
Integers are like whole numbers, but they also include negative numbers.
• It includes negative numbers (-1, -2, -3, -4, ………)
• It includes positive numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ………)
• It includes Zero
• Decimal number and fractions are not included in integers.
