What are the differences between cotton and silk?

The differences between cotton and silk are as follows:-

Cotton	Silk
1. Cotton is a natural plant fibre.	1. Silk is a natural animal fibre.
2. Cotton thread is made by combining cotton fibres of shorter length into a yarn and then twisting many yarns together to form a stronger yarn.	2. Silk threads are made by twisting together long fibres (called filaments) of silk.
