Mention few rules based on square root.

Square root rules :

Algebra rules for square roots are listed below. Square root rules are a subset of $n^{th}$ root and exponent rules.

1.$b = \sqrt{a}$ if both $b \geq 0$ and $b^2 = a$.

2.$\sqrt{a^2} = |a|$

3. If $a \geq 0$ and $\sqrt{a^2} = a$

4. $\sqrt{ab} = \sqrt{a}\sqrt{b}$

5.$\sqrt{\frac{a}{b}} = \frac{\sqrt{a}}{\sqrt{b}}$

6. $\sqrt{a} . \sqrt{a} = a$

7. $\sqrt{a^n} = (\sqrt{a})^n$

8. $\frac{a}{\sqrt{b}} = \frac{a}{\sqrt{b}} . \frac{\sqrt{b}}{\sqrt{b}} = \frac{a \sqrt{b}}{b}$
