How will you show that the poles have maximum strength

Place a bar magnet in a stack of iron filings.

Observation: Iron filings get to cling to the magnet. Also, the maximum amount of iron filings gets cling at the two ends of the bar magnet, which are the poles of the magnet.

Conclusion: The strength of a magnet is maximum at poles compared to the rest of the part of the magnet. The two poles of the magnet are different, and known as the North pole and the South Pole. Every magnet has the North Pole and the South Pole regardless of big or small.
