Evaluate the following:$ \frac{\sin 21^{\circ}}{\cos 69^{\circ}} $


Given:

\( \frac{\sin 21^{\circ}}{\cos 69^{\circ}} \)

To do:

We have to evaluate \( \frac{\sin 21^{\circ}}{\cos 69^{\circ}} \).

Solution:  

We know that,

$cos\ (90^{\circ}- \theta) = sin\ \theta$

Therefore,

$\frac{\sin 21^{\circ}}{\cos 69^{\circ}}=\frac{\sin 21^{\circ}}{\cos (90^{\circ}-21^{\circ})}$

$=\frac{\sin 21^{\circ}}{\sin 21^{\circ}}$

$=1$

Therefore, $\frac{\sin 21^{\circ}}{\cos 69^{\circ}}=1$.
