Can a myotropic eye see distant objects clearly by seeing a reflection in the plane mirror?

In a plane mirror, object distance ( u ) = Image distance ( v )

The rays that are coming from a far object when they get reflected from the mirror, these reflected rays they appear to be coming from an image (when rays are extended back) that is formed behind the mirror. So originally, these rays are coming from the same distance.

Hence though the mirror gives us an illusion of the object being close to us, but actually the rays from the image are coming from the same distance as the object( which is far). Therefore, we have convex mirrors with mentioned note "objects are closer than they appear ".
