We have to determine whether Boojho can see himself in the mirror. Also, we have to find out whether he can see the image of objects situated at P, Q, and R.
Solution:
As given the positions of Boojho in the given fig. 16.20, the image of Boojho formed by the mirror will be as below:
When Boojho is at the A position, the image will be formed at A'. Similarly, Images formed by the objects placed at P, Q, and R positions by the mirror will be at P', Q', and R' respectively.
Here we see that mirror does not lie between A and A'. Similarly, the mirror does not lie between Q and Q', R and R'.
Therefore, Boojho can not see himself in the mirror and he can not see the image of Q and R. He can see only the image object placed at P.
