(b) List two functions performed by testes in human beings.
(a) Function of seminal vesicles and prostate gland are as follows:
(i) Seminal vesicle: Secretion of the seminal vesicle is in the form of fluid seminal plasma that makes the transport of sperms lubricated and smooth.
(ii) Prostate gland: It secretes prostatic fluid that nourishes sperms to keep them alive and assists sperms to swim vigorously.
(b) Two functions performed by testes in human beings are:
(i) Formation of sperms
(ii) Secretion of the hormone testosterone to regulate the formation of sperm and are responsible for developing secondary sexual characteristics in boys during puberty.
