How easy is it to go abroad for higher studies in India?
Indian students are constantly on a look out to get into some good university anywhere in the world because the Indian job market appreciates a degree from an International university more compared to an Indian degree.
Additionally, Universities from many countries provide a high Quality higher education when compared to India. The better lifestyle, far better facilities and most importantly great job opportunities are also driving Indian students to go abroad for higher studies.
Indian students have to clear the English Language Proficiency test (IELTS or TOEFL) and GRE or GMAT in order to secure a seat in most of the countries. Since Indians are well versed in English, and in most of the schools and colleges the medium of instruction is English, passing a language proficiency test is not a big deal for many of the students.
Indian education system gives more importance to marks and grades than imparting practical knowledge. Indian students are far more industrious when it comes to education, thanks to the parents who are after them right from childhood.
