Which of the following rational numbers lie between 0 and $-1$? (a) 0 (b) $-3$ (c) $\frac{-2}{3}$ (d) $\frac{4}{3}$

Given :

The given statement is the numbers that lie between 0 and $-1$.

To do :

We have to find the rational numbers lie between 0 and $-1$.

Solution :

The rational numbers between 0 and $-1$ are

a. negative in nature and

b. must be in the fractional form(<1)

Among the given numbers,

$-3$ and $\frac{-2}{3}$ are negative numbers but $-3$ is not in fractional form.

$\frac{4}{3}$ is in fractional form but it is greater than 1 and is positive in nature.

Therefore,

 $\frac{-2}{3}$ lies between 0 and $-1$.
