Which force is responsible for raising our body hair when we try to take off a terylene or polyester shirt in the dry weather?

The electrostatic force generated due to the contact of hair and polyester shirt is responsible for making our body hair to be raised. The rubbing causes the two to become oppositely charged which causes electronic exchange and ionizes the two and the force of attraction raises the lightly charged hairs.
