What is the variation? What is the importance of variation?

Genetic variation is the variation in the DNA sequence in the human genome. Variation provides uniqueness in terms of hair color, skin color and even shape of faces. It helps them to adapt to a particular environment and increase the chance of survival.

For example, thermophilic bacteria are kind of variants that are resistant to extreme temperature and have a chance of survival in high temperate zones.
