What is sea breeze

A sea breeze or onshore breeze

In the daytime, when the sun is burning bright, both the land and water heats up, but land heats up very quickly and the air above it warms up a lot more than the air over the water. 

Due to being less dense, the warm air begins to rise and creates low pressure.

Now, the air pressure over the water is higher with cold dense air, which rushes towards the land to replace the warmer rising air. 

This cool air coming from the sea is known as the sea breeze or onshore breeze.
