What is periodic motion?

In the term of physics, a motion which is regular and repeating is referred as a periodic motion. Usually, the objects show vibration in regular and repeated manner are periodic in nature. Interval of time taken to complete each cycle of motion are equal.
For example: Movement of pendulum in wall clock is showing periodic motion.
