What are Red Blood Cells?



RBC- It is the most abundant cells in the blood. RBCs contain a protein known as haemoglobin that permits the transportation of oxygen and removing of carbon dioxide from our body. Besides, it gives blood its characteristic red colour. 

RBCs are made in the bone marrow and they usually live for about 120 days, and then they die.
