How red blood cells do their work?

RBC- It is the most abundant cells in the blood. The main work of RBC is the transportation of oxygen from the lungs to the body tissues and removing of carbon dioxide away from the tissues and back to the lungs.

This transportation of blood occurs due to the presence of an important protein in RBC, known as Haemoglobin.

RBCs are made in the bone marrow and they usually live for about 120 days, and then they die.
