For solving this problem we have to factorize  $3x^2+8x+4$ 

$3x^{2}+8x+4 = 3x^{2}+6x+2x+4$

$3x^2+8x+4=3x^2+6x+2x+4$

$3x(x+2) + 2(x+2)3x(x+2)+2(x+2)$

$(3x+2)(x+2)(3x+2)(x+2)$ 

So the two factors are $3x+2$ and $x+2$.
