Multiply:
$(2x + 8)$ by $(x - 3)$

To do:

We have to multiply $(2x + 8)$ by $(x - 3)$

Solution:

We know that,

$(a+b)\times(c+d)=a(c+d)+b(c+d)$

Therefore,

$(2x + 8)\times(x - 3)=2x (x - 3) + 8 (x - 3)$

$= 2x^2 - 6x + 8x - 24$

$= 2x^2 + 2x - 24$
