Given: The number is $(x+8)(2x-7)$

To do: Solve the expression.

Solution:

 $(x+8)(2x-7)$

Using distributive law

=$x(2x-7)+8(2x-7)$

=$2x^2-7x+16x-56$

=$2x^2+9x-56$


The value of the expression  $(x+8)(2x-7)$ is $2x^2+9x-56$
