Is plasma membrane is transparent or opaque or translucent?


The plasma membrane is a biological membrane found in all cells, which surrounds the organelles of the cells and separate the organelles of the cell from the outside environment. 


It is a tough, rigid and flexible layer made up of lipids (phospholipids and cholesterol), proteins, and carbohydrates group that are attached to some of the lipids and proteins.

It is selectively permeable that regulates the entry and exit of certain molecules.


It is less translucent.
