A shadow is formed when an opaque object blocks the light and a shadow cannot be formed from a transparent object what will a translucent object cast shadow or not? why?
A translucent object will cast a shadow but it will not be so much darker as the shadow formed by the opaque object. Because an opaque object will block the light completely while the translucent object will not block the light completely, allowing some light rays to pass through it.
