If we take a mixture of cement and sand, then how we will separate them?

In order to separate the mixture of sand and cement, the following steps should be followed.

1. Take 1/4 or 1/8 quantity of that mixture in a tub. ( 50–60% tub fill with the mixture ).

2. Add more extra water in the mixture. ( fill tub 100% ).

3. Mix properly with the help of bar or wooden stick or timber.

4. After mixing the sand and cement will settle, And water will flow above.

5. Now Remove the water of the tub, by Decantation.

6. Remove the solid mixture from the tub.

7. After removal this solid mixture take into the sunlight for drying.

8. Sieving- Take a Sieve and sieve the mixture with required sieve size. (in which cement dust may pass through)

After sieving mixture, cement dust and sand will separate.
