If the measures of two supplementary angles are $ (3 x+5) $ degree and $ (2 x+15) $ degree. Find 'x'.

Given:

The measures of two supplementary angles are $(3x+5)^o$ and $(2x+15)^o$.

To do:

We have to find the value of $x$.

Solution:

We know that,

Sum of two supplementary angles is $180^o$.

Therefore,

$(3x+5)^o + (2x+15)^o = 180^o$

$(5x+20)^o = 180^o$

$5x = (180-20)^o$

$5x = 160^o$

$x = \frac{160^o}{5}$

$x = 32^o$

The value of $x$ is $32^o$.
