Find the sum $4+(-11)+(-6)+(-2)$

To do:  Find the sum of  $4+(-11)+(-6)+(-2)$

Solution:

$4+(-11)+(-6)+(-2)$

$+(-11)  =  -11 ;+(-6)   =  -6;+(-2)   =  -2$

Now, rewrite,

$4 - 11 - 6 - 2$  [11 , 6 , 2 has the negative sign; so add them and put negative sign]

$4 - 19    =   -15$  [4 , 19 has different signs, so subtract them and put the sign of bigger number ]

$4+(-11)+(-6)+(-2)   =  -15$

Therefore, the value of the expression is $-15
