Draw the graph of each of the following linear equations in two variables.$ y=2 x $
Given:
The given equation is \( y=2 x \).
To do:
We have to draw the graph of the given linear equation in two variables.
Solution:
To represent the above equation graphically we need at least two solutions for the given equation.
For equation $y=2x$,
If $x=0$ then $y=2(0)=0$
If $x=1$ then $y=2(1)=2$
$x$ | $0$ | $1$ |
$y$ | $0$ | $2$ |
Plot the points $A(0, 0)$ and $B(1, 2)$ on the graph and join them to get the graph of the given equation.
