A couple suffering from minor Thalassemia. What will be the probability of their offsprings?

Thalassemia is an autosomal recessive disorder.

If a couple is Thalassemia Minor, that means they are heterozygous. They are carriers of affected genes.

When such a couple produces offspring, there is a 25% probability of getting an affected child.

25% probability is there to produce normal child, while remaining 50% probability is there that resulting offspring will be carrier of Thalassemia i.e. Thalassemia Minor.
