What is Additive Inverse?

The number in the set of real numbers that when added to a given number will gives zero.

This number is also known as the opposite, sign change, and negation.

Let's take an example- Find the additive inverse of 8?

the additive inverse of 8 is -8

Check: Number + Additive Inverse=0

8 + (-8) = 0 => 8 - 8 = 0
