Go for PPF
Very much popular as a long-term investment plan, PPF (Public Provident Fund) can be one of the profitable investment options for you as the Government of India has recently announced that the interest rate on PPF will be revised every year. However, for the year 2017-18, PPF account holders will get an increased interest rate of 8.1 percent. Also, many government and private banks are offering profitable PPF plans with varied interest rates. More important, You get the tax rebate on investing in PPF.
Mutual Fund (SIP)
Investing in share market through mutual funds is a practice done widely with the expectation of getting handsome returns even better than any investment plan available in India. As far as market risk is concerned, unlike direct investment, a SIP plan does not make any major dent to your financial state even if the market plunges.
