Introduction to <menu> Tag
The HTML <menu> tag is used to define the list or group of menu items, toolbars or commands for an application. Initially it is introduced in HTML 4.01, it has developed to support both semantic and functional purpose in HTML5. It can contains list items or plain text links.
It is designed to create menus for user interactions, like right-click context menus or navigation menus. It can also be used as alternative for unordered lists.
Syntax
Following is the syntax of HTML <menu> tag −
<menu> ... ... <menu>
Attributes
HTML menu tag supports Global and Event attributes of HTML. Accepts some specific attributes as well which are listed below.
