Count Or Calculate Hours Worked Between Times
Here we will first get any one result using the formula, then use the auto-fill handle, and finally format cells to complete the task. So let us see a simple process to know how you can count or calculate hours worked between times in Excel.
Step 1
Consider an excel sheet where you have a list of times similar to the below image.
Now click on an empty cell, in our case cell D2, and enter the formula as =(C2-B2)*24 and click enter to get the first result.
Empty cell > Formula > Enter.

Then, using the auto-fill handle, drag down from the first result to get all the values.

You can see that the values will be shown in time format, but we can convert them into number format by formatting the cells.
To format the cells, select the range of cells, then right-click and select format cells, then click on general and click OK to complete the task.
Select cell > Right click > Format cells > General > Ok.
