The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Indian Premier League (IPL) Sundar Raman has resigned from his position. Raman resigned as the COO after his name had cropped up in the 2013 IPL spot- fixing scandal.

News 2 - Romania's Prime Minister Victor Ponta resigned

Romania's Prime Minister, Victor Ponta resigned from his position following a deadly nightclub blaze, which left 32 dead and nearly 200 injured. Mr Ponta had been under tremendous pressure from the President, Klaus Iohannis to resign. He is the only sitting prime Minister to face corruption charges.

News 3 - Australian cricketer Mitchell Johnson retires from International cricket

Australian fast bowler, Mitchell Johnson (age 34) has announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket. He made this announcement after conclusion to the second Test match against New Zealand at the WACA.
