Every year 9th November is celebrated as the National Legal Services Day (NLSD) in India to spread awareness for ensuring reasonable fair and justice procedure for all citizens. This year it was 21st National Legal services day. It was started by the Supreme Court of India.

News 2 - World Science Day observed on 10th Nov

 World Science Day

Every year 10th November is being observed as the World Science Day (WSD) for Peace and Development to demonstrate the importance of science in our daily life. The theme of 2015 WSD is Science for a Sustainable Future, which has been chosen in line with 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development approved by the United Nations (UN).

News 3 - International Day for Tolerance observed on 16th November

 International Day for Tolerance observed

The International Day for Tolerance was observed world-wide on 16th November. The aim was to educate people about the need for tolerance in society and help them understand the negative effects of intolerance. It was declared by the UNESCO(United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in the year 1995.

Every year 25th November is being observed as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (IDEVAW) across the world. The importance of this day is to raise awareness about violence against women and girls and to end it.

News 6 - National Milk Day observed on 26th November

National Milk Day

The National Milk Day (NMD) is being observed on the 26th of November every year to mark the birth anniversary of Dr.Verghese Kurien also called as the Father of the White Revolution. As a social entrepreneur, he had started the billion-liter Idea-Operation Flood, which was the world’s largest agricultural development program. This operation had helped to transform India from a milk-deficit country into the world’s largest milk producer.

The first observance of Constitution Day was observed across India on the 26th of November 2015 to mark the adoption of Indian Constitution, which was done in the year – 1949.
