Which oil is better for cooking, mustard oil or coconut oil?
It is imperative that the Cooking Oil one uses should be healthy enough so that it provides our body with essential nutrients. In the light of this, let's discuss which out of mustard oil or coconut oil is better for cooking.
First of all, it is imperative to know that any oil that one must intake should be dependent upon which region of the country you belong to. For people living in the Southern part of India, coconut oil is better while for those living in North India mustard oil is a better choice. This is because South India has ample amount of coconut and therefore the natives of southern India should consume it because it suits their body metabolism. Likewise, for natives of north India, mustard oil is a better preference.
Benefits of Coconut Oil
It is good for skin, weight loss, hair nourishment, treating infections. This oil is used in Canada, U.S., Europe, and Australia.
Benefits of Mustard Oil
It is very good, especially for cardiovascular health. The oil is rich in monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats. Both help in lowering bad cholesterol and raising good cholesterol. It is surprising how this oil which was once thought to be toxic to humans as a rumor had spread regarding it, is now one of the most recommended oils by the nutritionists.
Noteworthy Points with Regard to These Two Oils
Never mix these two oils in order to get optimum benefits for the two. Since the two oils are entirely different in their composition, one must not mix these oils.
Store these oils under a shade. Never let them get exposed to direct sunlight.
It is rightly said that "Health is wealth." Thus, one must never be careless and take health as a priority.
