What is the value of sin15°?


To do: Find  the value of sin15°?


Solution:

Using trigonometric formula 

$Sin(A - B) = SinACosB - CosASinB$

$=>Sin15° = Sin(45°-30°) = Sin45°Cos30° -Cos45°Sin30°$

$=>\frac{1}{√2} \times \frac{√3}{2} -  \frac{1}{√2} \times \frac{1}{2}$ 

$=>\frac{√3}{2√2} - \frac{1}{2√2}$ = $\frac{√3 - 1}{2√2}$


Therefore. Sin15° =  $\frac{√3 - 1}{2√2}$
