The value of acceleration due to gravity of earth:
(a) is the same on equator and poles
(b) is the least on poles
(c) is the least on equator

We know the expression for gravitational acceleration $g=G\frac{M}{r^2}$
Here we come to know that the value gravitational acceleration is inversely proportional to the distance between the center and the surface of the earth.
On the poles, the distance between the center and the surface of the earth is the least, so $g$ has a greater value on poles. While on equators the distance between the surface of the ground and the center is greater, so on the equator value of $g$ is the least.
So, option (c) is correct.
