(b) $ 56.272 \times 41.2 $

(d) $ 4 \frac{4}{7} \p 5 \frac{1}{3} $
Given:
(a) \( 78.5 \div 3.14 \)
(b) \( 56.272 \times 41.2 \)
(c) \( 4 \frac{2}{9} \times 3 \frac{3}{8} \times 7 \frac{1}{2} \)
(d) \( 4 \frac{4}{7} \div 5 \frac{1}{3} \)
To do:
We have to simplify the given expressions.
Solution:
(a) $78.5 \div 3.14=\frac{78.5}{3.14}$
$=\frac{3.14\times25}{3.14}$
$=25$
(b) $56.272 \times 41.2=2318.4064$
(c) $4 \frac{2}{9} \times 3 \frac{3}{8} \times 7 \frac{1}{2}=\frac{4\times9+2}{9} \times \frac{8\times3+3}{8} \times \frac{7\times2+1}{2}$
$=\frac{38}{9} \times \frac{27}{8} \times \frac{15}{2}$
$=\frac{19\times3\times15}{1\times8\times1}$
$=\frac{855}{8}$
(d) $4 \frac{4}{7} \div 5 \frac{1}{3}=\frac{7\times4+4}{7} \div \frac{5\times3+1}{3}$
$=\frac{31}{7} \times \frac{3}{16}$
$=\frac{93}{112}$
