Simplify: $15\:+\:3\left(4x-30\right)\:=\:33$
To do : We have to simplify $15\:+\:3\left(4x-30\right)\:=\:33$ and find $x$
Solution:
$15+3(4 x-30)=33$
Subtract 15 from both sides
$15+3(4 x-30)-15=33-15$
Simplify
$3(4 x-30)=18$
Divide both sides by 3
$\frac{3(4 x-30)}{3}=\frac{18}{3}$
Simplify
$4 x-30=6$
Add 30 to both sides
$4 x-30+30=6+30$
Simplify
$4 x=36$
Divide both sides by 4
$\frac{4 x}{4}=\frac{36}{4}$
Simplify
$x=9$
