Biogas - It is primarily composed of methane gas, carbon dioxide, and trace amounts of nitrogen, hydrogen, and carbon monoxide.
It is a renewable source of energy which is produced biologically by the breakdown of organic matter by anaerobic bacteria.
Natural gas - It is a colourless highly flammable gaseous hydrocarbon mixture consisting primarily of methane and ethane with smaller quantities of component gasses such as propane, butane, pentane, and hexane.
It is a non-renewable source of energy because it is a type of petroleum that commonly occurs in association with crude oil which is produced by geological processes.
