If a plant has leaves with reticulate venation, what kind of roots will it have?
Most vascular plants' most significant organs are their leaves. Reticulate Venation is when veins (or the nerves) are distributed in a network or web-like arrangement all over the leaf blade or lamina. It is called reticulate venation. If plant leaves form reticulate venation, they possess a taproot system.
Parallel Venation is a condition in which the veins (or nerves) are aligned parallel to one another throughout the leaf blade or lamina.
Green plants are autotrophic, which means they produce their own food through photosynthesis rather than obtaining it from other living creatures. They harness the energy from sunlight and use it to convert carbon dioxide and water into simple sugars like glucose and sucrose.
The subsequent steps involve storing the sugars as starch, undergoing additional chemical synthesis to create more complex organic molecules like proteins or cellulose, the primary structural component of plant cell walls, or metabolizing the sugars through cellular respiration to produce chemical energy for cellular functions.
