How Lion-tailed Macaque adapt to their environment?

The Iron-tailed macaques are well-adapted to their environment.

Their silver-white 'manes' which surrounds its head from the cheeks down to its chin help keep off the rain during monsoons and their cheek pouches allow them to collect a lot of food quickly. They also have opposable thumbs, which assist them in the hunt for food as well.

Besides this, lion-tailed Macaques have well-padded bottoms that allow them to sleep comfortably on trees without falling out of the tree and to stay safe from predators.
