Luminous objects - Those objects that emit light of their own or has their own source.
Example- Sun, Candle, Tubelight and Bulb give out or emit their own light and hence, are luminous objects.

Non-luminous objects - Those objects which do not emit light on their own or hasn't their own source.
Example- Moon does not emit its own light and glows by reflecting the light of the sun.
