Foam is solid but why it can be compressed easily?
Foam is solid but yet it can be compressed easily because it has minute holes or air spaces which is filled with air, so when the foam is being compressed, then the air present in the holes expelled out, and when it is released, it regains its initial position, as the air again filled those holes.
