Find the perimeter of the triangle."

Given :

From the figure, The three sides of the triangle are $3x-7, 2x+5$, and $-x+11$.

To do :

We have to find the perimeter of the given triangle.

Solution :

We know that,

The perimeter of a triangle is the sum of the lengths of its sides.

Therefore,

The perimeter of the given triangle $= (3x-7)+(2x+5)+(-x+11)$

                                                                $= (3x+2x-x)+(-7+5+11)$

                                                                $= (5x-x)+(16-7)$

                                                                $= 4x+9$.

Therefore, the perimeter of the triangle is $4x+9$.
