Evaluate the following and express the answer as a mixed fraction.
$10 \div 1\frac{2}{7}$

Given :

The given term is $10 \div  1\frac{2}{7}$

To do :

We have o evaluate the given term and express the answer as mixed fraction. 

Solution :

 $1\frac{2}{7} = \frac{(1\times7+2)}{7} = \frac{(7+2)}{7} = \frac{9}{7}$

Therefore,

$10 \div  1\frac{2}{7}= 10\div \frac{9}{7}$

                  $= 10\times \frac{7}{9}$

                  $= \frac{70}{9}$

$= \frac{70}{9}= \frac{(7\times9+7)}{9}$

          $= 7 \frac{7}{9}$.  

The value of  $10 \div  1\frac{2}{7}$ is $7 \frac{7}{9}$
