To download the free version of Malwarebytes antivirus, we should follow the steps given below.
Step 1 − After downloading it from the above-mentioned link, we should click on the .exe File as shown below.
Step 2 − Then we click on the Next button for five times on different screens until we reach a screen that has an Install button.
Step 3 − Then we click on the Install button.
Step 4 − After installation, the following console will open, and as soon as the console opens, it starts to take updates before starting the scan. We will configure the scan option.
Step 5 − To configure the scan, we should navigate to the Scan section.
Threat Scan
The Threat Scan will scan the most common areas where malware is detected, including the following items −
Memory Objects − Memory that has been allocated by the operating system processes, drivers and other applications.
Startup Objects − Executable files and/or modifications, which will be initiated at the computer startup.
