jQuery Mobile - Dynamically Injected

The slider can be created at runtime by using the JavaScript function.

Following example demonstrates the use of dynamically injected slider in jQuery Mobile.

<!DOCTYPE html>
      <title>Dynamically injected</title>
      <meta name = "viewport" content = "width = device-width, initial-scale = 1">
      <link rel = "stylesheet" href = "https://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.4.5/jquery.mobile-1.4.5.min.css">
      <script src = "https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.3.min.js"></script>
      <script src = "https://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.4.5/jquery.mobile-1.4.5.min.js"></script>

      <form id = "dynamic-slider-form">
         $( document ).on( "pagecreate", function() {
            $( "<input type = 'number' data-type = 'range' min = '0' max = '100' step = '1' value = '70'>" )
            .appendTo( "#dynamic-slider-form" )

Let's carry out the following steps to see how the above code works −

  • Save the above html code as slider_dynamically.html file in your server root folder.
