Website
It is a collection of webpages and multimedia content.
This is made available under one domain on the World Wide Web.
The websites are usually hosted using a web hosting service.
This allows the web pages and the content of the website to be accessed by people all over the world.
It can be an internal site that could be accessed through a secure local area network.
The fundamental unit of a website is content.
It doesn’t have any kind of order.
Commenting on a website is not possible all the time.
There are no subscriptions possible to the RSS feed.
The frequency at which a website is updated is less.
A home page could be present in a website.
Blog
It is a web page that has information published on it on World Wide Web.
It can contain information on a specific topic.
It is a platform where people can share their views and discuss about a specific subject.
They can be understood as online publishing tools that are used by authors to publish articles, review products, and opinions.
The blog posts can also be shared on stand-alone websites, social network feed syndication systems, and social networks.
The fundamental unit of a blog is a post.
The blogs are in a reverse chronological order.
Hence, the latest post is at the top, and the oldest post is at the bottom.
The commenting can be enabled on a blog.
A user can subscribe to an RSS feed.
The blog is frequently updated.
The home page is necessarily present in a blog.
