What does the method removeAllElements() do in java?

The removeAllElements() method is used to remove all components from this vector and sets its size to zero. This method is identical in functionality to the clear method.

Example

import java.util.Vector;
public class VectorDemo {
   public static void main(String[] args) {

      Vector<Integer> vec = new Vector<Integer>(4);
      vec.add(4);
      vec.add(3);
      vec.add(2);
      vec.add(1);
      System.out.println("Added numbers are :- ");
      for (Integer number : vec) {
         System.out.println("Number = " + number);
      }
      System.out.println("Size of the vector: "+vec.size());
      System.out.println("Removing all elements");
      vec.removeAllElements();
      System.out.println("Now size of the vector: "+vec.size());
   }
}

Output

Added numbers are :-
Number = 4
Number = 3
Number = 2
Number = 1
Size of the vector: 4
Removing all elements
Now size of the vector: 0
